Taken before my camera went kaput..
My peppers are now starting to germinate and my tomatoes surprisingly started to germinate 5 days after sowing [All were sown around the 10 Jan]
I’m growing Red pointy pepper [yes that's it's name] along with bell peppers [red green orange] from real seeds. I’ve also decided to grow a Thai green aubergine [ she says optimistically ] also from real seeds along with my usual black enorma aubergine..
I’m sticking with my usual tomatoes.. Roma for sauces and cherry sweet million. Next on my list is to decide what squash/pumpkin to grow, then start those off in pots in March..

You’re way ahead of me. I haven’t sown any seeds yet, seeds sown later always seem to catch up.
We’re going for pointy peppers too this year. Last year the chillies grew much better than the bell peppers but the chillies caused me too much pain so will be given a miss.
Hi Dee
First of all thank you for faving my blog on Blotanical, secondly I’d like to say I love your blog too. The layout is very good, and very chatty/newsy, I will be back to read the older post when I have a mo this week.
I’ve only sown my onion seeds so far oh and some large poppy seeds which are now sturdy little plants. I can’t wait for the weather improve so I can get to my allotment again.
Hi.. Maureen thanks for your kind comments *blushing*
Its been quite a while since I was last on blotanical [over a year] and thought it’s about time a had a browse round and came across your blog. I’m looking forward to reading your posts *smiles*
Hi Sue.. Chillies are the one thing I’ve never grown, which is a bit of a mystery really as I like to cook spicy foods. Thai,Indian so forth. I never seem to think of chillies when I’m planning what to grow.. “strange”
