Pumpkin – Jack be little

Asparagus beans didn’t do well sown direct last year, so this year I’m starting them off in root trainers..

Did you sow these inside or outside?! what a great day-I’m heading to the allotment tommorrow to see whats going on-haven’t been up there for a while…sx
All started off inside in root trainers and pots- some would say the squash and pumpkins are a little early but I like to get them to a decent size before planting out in May. In the past I planted out smaller seedlings and they got eaten, even though they were “protected” with milk cartons as cloches
You’ve been busy. I need to get more sowing done myself.
No sowing for us until the weather improves I’m afraid but there is plenty to do on the plot to keep us busy.
