feet haven’t touched the ground

Back from a week here Followed by a few days in Paris, then back to Kent on the Eurostar to a friends house where we had left our car. A couple of days with them, then on to Derbyshire to spend the bank  holiday with my Daughter.

Just back from a flying visit to the plot this morning “chilly out there” and my onions, potatoes, peas, beetroot, carrots, broadies are all up. Still no sign of my asparagus. I need to ask my lottie neighbour “when I next see her” how long her crowns took to come through – I thought there would be signs of life by now..

Off now to tackle mount wash-more..  *sigh*

Wow, that cruise looks fantastic. I’ve been on a few UK canal holidays with my family but that’s something else!

    Good to have you back!

Looks like a wonderful holiday. Glad to hear that you wasn’t flying, you would have definitely been caught up in the volcano situation. How I hate the wash pile when I get home from holiday.

we left a suitcase in the car boot for when we returned to my friends. *sigh* I’ve got three suitcases to get through
Holiday was a birthday and wedding anniversary treat “our anniversary’s this Sunday the 9th”, hubby booked it in the new year and got a good deal on it – at the time there were discounts on holidays all over internet *smiles*

“chilly out there” is a bit of an understatement isn’t it? LOL Looks like you’ve had a great time.
