Before I got my plot my gardening was restricted to growing in containers – around a third of the plot I covered with plastic and grew squash my fist year but those pesky roots still had to come out after I harvest the squash..
My back and shoulders didn’t know what had hit them and I’ve still got the battle scars to prove I did all that work!
That summer was one of the best ever. My family thought I was mad and going through some kind of mid life crisis lol.. and well.. Me, I couldn’t of been happier..
